As it is now...
A3 paper, acrylic, 1 March 2021
Progess shots

I missed painting last week. I finished a blogpost on Monday and went to a zoom drawing class on Tuesday. I really missed painting, so was determined to do both painting and drawing this next week. Margaret, in our art class, had suggested a project, if interested. Paint a local scene as it is now. Then, paint it again, imagining how it might be.
I could not think of a suitable scene. One time, I was thinking such a scene is likely to be right under my nose, if I only had the sense to see it!
And it was! Not far away is an old house, now abandoned, awaiting its refurbishment as a nursery. Posh flats are to be built on the grounds. This one is linked to the second painting, As it might be.
