Backyard seat

I gave myself a bit of a problem with this one. What do you do, if you focus first on the pergola, forgetting there is a wall running behind it? It's ruined! I'll have to start again. But then, people say you can do anything with acrylics. I painted over some of the chair for the wooden fence and then put the chair back. Having made this mistake, and then put it right, the outcome, to my mind, anyway, was better. This is just my art. It brings me joy (and pain) to paint and hours of pleasure looking at it, sitting above the window in my kitchen. It was a lovely, hot day. The pear tree is in blossom. Flowers proliferate over the floor and it is quiet in the city.
