Black Rock
A4, paper, acrylic, 16 October 2020
Progess shots

Walking along the cliff footpath out of Whitby on the north east coast of England, heading towards Robin Hood's Bay, you see this dark rock jutting straight up out of the sands. A solitary cormorant spreads its wings to dry on top. You may just be able to see it, that and the large dolphin, which myseriously painted itself onto the page. I kid you not. Some say there is also a grey squirrel, but I've yet to see that. It is,after all, up to you what you see.
