Dandelions

Painted from a photograph, I was taken by the beauty of these wildflowers and wanted to try to paint them. I'm very pleased with the result, especially the flashes of deep yellows and reds, arcing across the corners. You can tell the lighter, yellow background underneath the flowers, stretching from bottom left to mid-page right. See first Progress Shot
